Brambles

The consequences of change can be profound peace and relief. To resolve conflict, a series of realizations and changes must be implemented. God is always changing things because the things He moves are living, in some fashion or other.

God is often deliberate in putting us in difficult positions. We must turn to Him if we want peace. The reason for the way things happen aren't always clear, and an acceptance of the fact that things are deliberately vague is to cause faith to grow, so that we may depend on Him without trepidation.

We are simply not always part of solutions. Often, it may seem we have been mistaken, and the actions of others may increase doubt. Things work out eventually, until it becomes clear that our feet have walked in the footsteps of Jesus. Emotions may work for us or against us in this process. However, if we have placed ourselves in His Will, we are not living in darkness, but light may only be had, sometimes, by a lot of work clearing away brambles of uncertainties which do nothing pleasant, like a patch of large, well-established blackberry canes. They are bristling with sharp thorns, and removing them without getting stuck and bleeding might be impossible.
