Inspiration

Break on through to the other side.

My new computer became unresponsive after an experiment, so I created a fresh recovery disk and inserted the thumb drive it was on into the computer. The result was that the computer got recovered, and is now working properly again. In order to solve a recent problem having to do with users and trying to startup without a password, things got tangles and the hiberfile apparently got scragged. The reset solved the difficulty, but not without the Lord giving me the insight, or, inspiration. It doesn't hurt to write down what you do step by step so if a similar problem arises, a similar solution might be applied.

Recently, I found I could create a new user and delete the old one and solve the problem of having to type a password. That was then, and this is now; apparently, Microsoft decided to disable the perfectly legitimate means of setting the PC so it would not insist on having a password typed. As it now stands, there is no way, and I don't mess with the registry, and the solution would have to lie there, if there one.

I am simply happy to have the PC functioning again. I copied the installation discs of my main programs to the hard drive for just such occasions as when it become necessary to completely scrubbing the hard drive to get rid of errors and problems. Having important data saved on an external hard drive to be recovered at a later date also helps to reduce the strain of wiping everything away and having to restore the data and hope nothing  important was  lost.

Certain matters were weaing heavily on me, and the work of restoring the computer helped me concentrate on something else. God is good +

Break

He cannot forget you. Your cries have pierced the
silence, tearing open His Heart. He cannot forget you.

The work people do, molds their personality. Inasmuch as the body affects the soul, it too gets to feeling bludgeoned, and altogether, the effort is purposeless and uninspiring. Millions sit in a room in a huge building, servicing the needs of machines to manage people and their needs; the need for assistance with rent, food, medicine and medical care. In the end, too many die of the drudgery and monotony, and none of us will ever know the relief they feel when they are finally assumed into the Heart of Christ and enjoy His presence fully, without hindrance and in an unlimited way.

Unfortunately, sometimes people get caught up in the gears when someone drops the ball. Lives change, people lose their home, and die in the streets, because someone didn't care because they couldn't.

Once again the concept of intercessor comes to mind. The people who suffer on behalf of others they likely do not know, but whose suffering is not imaginary, and is unbearable.

Any suffering capable of killing is able also able to be felt in the empath. The monk in his cloister may wonder what he is doing there, as the years go by. Not much changes, and in the end, it is simply over.

The magnificence of the charity that can be spent, exhausted and emptied is, in the end, equal to the passion of Christ, and the passion-life of His forgottenness as He hung unseen for millennia to atone.

People went on sinning, and the undeserving and innocent are used up in the effort to redeem.

Welcome the random moment of joy, and give thanks for it, stopping still in your day to tell Him you love Him. He will show you how much He loves you, in reply.

Care

A Hooded Merganser. You are as beautiful
and the Lord takes great care for you.

What is an intercessor? A cross on whom Jesus may be crucified again, a willingness to offer pain, suffering and all human misery for the sanctification of God's people.

Without those who are so, there would be no salvation for many. The deleterious effects of sin separate us from God in our mind and affection. Intercession reunites people with God, and people with each other, as beings who were created by God Himself to love.

Since it is our love He wishes, it stands to reason He will do whatever is necessary to try to unite people with Himself.

That also means, that inasmuch as possible, we will tend, in our lives, to be united to Him as much as possible.

Intercessors often endure great suffering. Suffering is part of every human life. The loving that goes on in the soul and the mind of the intercessor is what gives that suffering its power to heal people and reform their lives. It is the love God has for all men and which is always active for our salvation.

Sometimes it is not the suffering the Lord wants, but to unite us to Himself, and so He unites us spiritually to Himself, and while still in our suffering, takes us out of this life to bring us into paradise so He may be with us and enjoy us as the beloved beings that we are.

Intercessors often are very obscure and hidden. Their work is carried out outside the field of vision of most. Often, they are only revealed in death, and hindsight.

Pray for one another for these reasons. Pray to persevere and take nothing for yourself. A selfless gift brings tears to the Lord's eyes, and is good for Him to see.

Waiting

It has been a while since I last posted. A lot has happened in the meantime, and changes are in the works, and I feel apprehension that things have gotten out of my control.

It is when you are absolutely out of control that God is the most firmly in control of you and your life.

Some people are very afraid to think they have lost control, and some even more so when it comes to God being in control as they are not.

All sorts of painful things can happen, but also, often, some very specially wonderful things. if you reminisce about the past. Often people forget the dreadful trials that pained them so, seemingly cost so much in terms of purely human terms. The stormy season was resolved, and peace returned. For those moments we need to be grateful, lest He get to think we are careless in our relationship to God.

Waiting is a difficult thing. For me it is probably the one thing I hate most, is waiting on someone else to do what they are supposed to do so things can happen the way they should.

We all love gardens, the cool air, the lush green and the energy of living things together reacting to the universe. But sometimes, Jesus enjoys our company in the Garden of Olives, in which He waited to be betrayed and carried off to be condemned to death.

For all such persons, I pray the Lord be kind and gentle with you. But you do your part and draw very near HIm while He is sweating bloody tears.

Penetrare et Perforate, sed sola Amore tuo.

Many people wonder about the meaning, the "why" of St. Padre Pio's stigmata. I think it was not a matter of worthiness, so muc...
