It has been a while since I last posted. A lot has happened in the meantime, and changes are in the works, and I feel apprehension that things have gotten out of my control.
It is when you are absolutely out of control that God is the most firmly in control of you and your life.
Some people are very afraid to think they have lost control, and some even more so when it comes to God being in control as they are not.
All sorts of painful things can happen, but also, often, some very specially wonderful things. if you reminisce about the past. Often people forget the dreadful trials that pained them so, seemingly cost so much in terms of purely human terms. The stormy season was resolved, and peace returned. For those moments we need to be grateful, lest He get to think we are careless in our relationship to God.
Waiting is a difficult thing. For me it is probably the one thing I hate most, is waiting on someone else to do what they are supposed to do so things can happen the way they should.
We all love gardens, the cool air, the lush green and the energy of living things together reacting to the universe. But sometimes, Jesus enjoys our company in the Garden of Olives, in which He waited to be betrayed and carried off to be condemned to death.
For all such persons, I pray the Lord be kind and gentle with you. But you do your part and draw very near HIm while He is sweating bloody tears.
