Break

He cannot forget you. Your cries have pierced the
silence, tearing open His Heart. He cannot forget you.

The work people do, molds their personality. Inasmuch as the body affects the soul, it too gets to feeling bludgeoned, and altogether, the effort is purposeless and uninspiring. Millions sit in a room in a huge building, servicing the needs of machines to manage people and their needs; the need for assistance with rent, food, medicine and medical care. In the end, too many die of the drudgery and monotony, and none of us will ever know the relief they feel when they are finally assumed into the Heart of Christ and enjoy His presence fully, without hindrance and in an unlimited way.

Unfortunately, sometimes people get caught up in the gears when someone drops the ball. Lives change, people lose their home, and die in the streets, because someone didn't care because they couldn't.

Once again the concept of intercessor comes to mind. The people who suffer on behalf of others they likely do not know, but whose suffering is not imaginary, and is unbearable.

Any suffering capable of killing is able also able to be felt in the empath. The monk in his cloister may wonder what he is doing there, as the years go by. Not much changes, and in the end, it is simply over.

The magnificence of the charity that can be spent, exhausted and emptied is, in the end, equal to the passion of Christ, and the passion-life of His forgottenness as He hung unseen for millennia to atone.

People went on sinning, and the undeserving and innocent are used up in the effort to redeem.

Welcome the random moment of joy, and give thanks for it, stopping still in your day to tell Him you love Him. He will show you how much He loves you, in reply.
