Tranquil

Do I not preserve my creation?

People today are drawn to what I call "tabloid Christianity", in which signs and wonders purport  to reveal the future and and warn of apocalyptic punishments. It is easy to get addicted to such things to the point that people lose objectivity and sadly, their precious peace of mind.

Avoid getting hysterical that way. If a person pays notice of such things and maintain their peace and joy, and show the respect and reverence to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, and otherwise are responsive to jesus for Himself, then perhaps their life has been secured in the Heart of Jesus, for there will be nothing of value without the two.

Jesus had always warned people to pay attention to what He said, and to follow Him in being like Him, peaceable and calm.

It is important that you should not be hysterically agitated and frightened when you hear that such and such has been predicted to take place. You know very well that Jesus is always active, and things can change, and that He is counting on His children to change. He can change things in an instant. One must preserve peace and quiet within themselves, and if a person is continually stirred up to fever pitch, then one ought to ask why, and to pray for the person's peace of mind.

Pray that the Lord fortify us in His Heart as in a citigel. He sends us forth from peace, knowing the peace where may dwell is maintained. Evil has no such effect on people, but  continually assaults us with temptation and sinful innuendos trying to dislodge our hearts from the peace of God and His love. The two go together and accompany the children of God to protect them.

We know that calamity waits for the human race. We have polluted the earth and the results have been deleterious effects on the environment, so that nature reacts as it can given exaggerated stimuli provided by excess. Nevertheless, we need to remain at His feet, quietly loving Him and commending ourselves to God. Such people will strong and close to the happiness of God, and people will benefit from their inner strength.

Do not get to the point you forget Jesus as you become aware of troubles. That is a dangerous position to be in.

We pray to live, but death is always coming; it is not as if we were not already abundantly aware of it. It does not mean we have lost Jesus, or that our soul is lost. He Himself told us we are steeped in sin, but that He can clean us and heal us and renew us, and these facts are more important than signs and wonders, secret and hidden revelations.
